To go to the highest degree of glory in the celestial kingdom you must have faith in the lord Jesus Christ, Repentance baptism, confirmation and the receving of the holy ghost, temple ordances and marrage. You should live your life worthy of your reward in heaven. If you make a mistake, you can repent and become clean again through the atonement of Jesus Christ. If we endure to the end and repent and sin no more, and try to perfect our lives, we can receve the glory which we deserve. Those who dont work so hard to do so and live in their sins and come unto satan will not be saved. Those who beleve in Christ still have their free agency. He will not make you claen against your will. You must repent and come unto him, following the command ments. They were not writtan for fun. Why write the comandments if all you have to do is claim christ as your personal savior. THEY ARE THERE FOR A REASON. You will, in heaven, get what you prepared for on earth. There are diferent degrees of Glory. Only the most richeous will be able to attain the highest most degree of Glory.

You do not understand. Many are called but few are chosen. Even Latter-day Saints will have to be fully converted and conform their lives to the will of God in order to enter the Celestial Kingdom. The temple recommend is merely an indication that the person is presently worthy to enter the temple and perform the ordinances of salvation reserved for that holy edifice. Certainly it is an indication that our lives are pointed the right direction. If you are not worthy for a recommend, then you are also not ready for entrance into His Kingdom. The basic requirements for the Celestial Kingdom are found in the 76th Section of the Doctrine and Covenants. It includes being faithful to the testimony of Jesus throughout our mortal lives, doing whatsoever things God commands of us. If you can actively evidence your love for God and your fellow beings, then you are certainly headed the right direction.
Finally, there is no way of knowing how many will qualify because that is something for Jesus to decide, not us. Also, people tend to be dynamic, not static, meaning that worthy today may not be worthy tomorrow, and vice versa.

No. The recommend is not required.
All Children who die before the age of accountability are saved in the Celestial Kingdom. All who die withour a knowledge of the Gospel, but who would have received it with all their heart shall enter the kingdom.
There are required ordinances which may be performed by proxy for those who never went to the temple.
To enter his temple the Lord commands all of us to be worthy to receive this blessing this includes:
Love and worship God.
Love our neighbor.
Repent of our wrongdoings.
Live the law of chastity.
Pay honest tithes and offerings.
Be honest in our dealings with others and with the Lord.
Speak the truth always.
Obey the Word of Wisdom.
Search out our kindred dead and perform the saving ordinances of the gospel for them.
Keep the Sabbath day holy.
Attend our Church meetings as regularly as possible so we can renew our baptismal covenants by partaking of the sacrament.
Love our family members and strengthen them in the ways of the Lord.
Have family and individual prayers every day.
Honor our parents.
Teach the gospel to others by word and example.
Study the scriptures.
Listen to and obey the inspired words of the prophets of the Lord.
Finally, each of us needs to receive the Holy Ghost and learn to follow his direction in our individual lives.
Probably half the adult membership qualifies for a recommend.

record keeping, and having a temple recommend, does not mean anything when it comes to how CHRIST is going to judge anyone's worthyness to enter the Celestial Kingdom.
