Me and my husband have been having problems and I called my sister-in-law to try to help me and give me some advice about how to handle things......I called my dad too.....My dad and my sister-in-law also talked for a while trying to understand what my husbands problem is and to see if they could help. My mom does nothing but tell me its all my fault and I shouldnt have married him.....which doesnt help much.....so anyway my sister-in-law asked if she could call my dad because she had an idea of what my dad could do or say to my husband to make him understand that there are certain things he should not do (like ripping the door off the hinges) so I said yeah and gave her is number.......they talked for awhile and came up with a plan and they hung up and my dad went inside to tell my mom what they talked about and she asked my dad "WELL DID YOU HAVE A NICE PHONE DATE?!?!" My dad did not know what to say he was so upset...when he told me the only thing I could think of was "SHE IS NUTS"!

To make a long story short I think she is going through menopause and is just going crazy....what do you think?

Look the point is not about my problem with my husband my mom is accusing my dad of having relations with my sister-in-law....My husband has problems and I and the rest of them family knew that when we got married...Its not his fault its medical....but my mom is accusing my dad of CHEATING?! they have been married 27 yrs and he has NEVER cheated on her.....please read the question before you answer.

My mom is 48 I think and she told me for the past 3 or 4 months her period has been off....like she had 2 in 1 month or not at all....just all crazy.....my mom has always been a controll freak and screaming and hollering and that sort of thing....it just seems like it is getting worse.....she is demanding that my dad buy her a house and buy her a car and buy her this that and the other and he is doing the best he can....I dont want to pick sides here but if I had to it would be my dad and then my mom would resent me for it! I think she is going loco!

Your Mom has issues way beyond what you wrote on here I believe.
Sounds like she is perhaps a control freak who feels as though she has no control.
You say menopause. Did this just start? happening for a year or two? What are we talking about here? How old is she?
In the meantime, and i know your question had nothing to do with this, your husband needs some anger management classes..

this problem is between your parents, although i'm sorry it's such a worry
perhaps your mother IS menopausal, i don't know... only a doctor can say for sure.
meanwhile, i hope your mother gets over it, and that you can resolve issues in your life, especially with your husband. it was nice of your family to try and help.
i really don't know what to say about your mother, except that it might be the SISTER IN LAW who she's a little jealous of, and the mere fact that your father and the sister in law had a conversation may have made your mom feel some insecure? perhaps your mom thinks the sister in law is better, sexier or has some idea that she's more attractive as a person.
people have strange thoughts sometimes... and all we can do is let them work it out for themselves

Take her to a doctor it is probably menopause. Ask her how she is feeling. Your husband is having some issues too. He should already know what not to do, he is a grown man.

perhaps your mom has a point. after all, your husband did pull the door off the hinges. it seems to me it's the husband not your mom you should be concerned about. he's violent and if i were your mom, i'd probably tell you to get away from him.
