Sure in the Spelling/Grammar section of Education.
Not here where we are not that anal about things.
We, being adults can read between the grammar and
spelling mistakes because we're not in school and we're
having fun voicing our opinions and it's all about that, not
about being a tyrant about such stupid things.
Most of the time, people can get the gist of whats being said/asked.

Hello,
I'll play the Devil's advocate here. No, people are trying to get their messages across very fast so they can be first in line to get theit points. More often than not I see answers come in 10 - 30 seconds of a post. Furthermore there are many who answer dozens of posts each day so I would guess they are interested in quantity output and not quality.
That said, we are answering questions so fast and quickly that this text messaging has become a form of short hand one used in past decades. We are not doing university thesis or term papers here.

Nope, they expect to have intelligent people to answer and ask questions on their website. They thought Spell Check would take care of the ones who don't meet their expectations.

Yes. And they should also take away points for posting questions in the wrong category.

Grammar doesn't bother me quite as much as poor spelling and syntax -- capital letters and punctuation are your friends, kids!

No because 90% of all the mis/un educated Americans points will be the ones being deducted, then it would be biased.

nah... it's too fun to laugh at all the people who insult other people with misspelled versions of bad names. 3 minutes ago i saw one guy call another guy ''retarted.'' lol
that also means i would have to start capitalizing things. i don't like it. i don't like it one bit.
