I was on another site and somebody has that picture as their profile picture. I reported it as abuse and the owner of that site pretty much says that anything is ok. So I quit the site after being there for a year.

These really are the Last Days where people will not endure sound doctrine.

My other question is...Why even have a "Report Abuse" button when anything goes?

Anything goes except Christianity (calling out sin.If you insinuate that a behavior could lead you to hell or demon possession on here you will get a violation. I did.I too think the Brittany, Madonna situation is vile. It's just an indicator of the state of moral decay that we are living in these days. I fear we may see the wrath of God if things don't reverse before too long. This answer is one likely to get a violation. God bless!!

What you consider evil and what is generally accepted as evil are not necessarily the same thing. You were simply in the minority. Just because one person reported it does not mean anything. If they eliminated pictures and posts just because ONE person reported it, then they'd eventually end up eliminating EVERYTHING. So multiple reports by a number of people is necessary at most sites, and even then some things are subject to majority rules or community guidelines. If you are uncomfortable with what is generally accepted at that site, then you did the right thing by quitting. Go find yourself a place where like-minded people hang out and leave the rest of us alone.

Regarding the Madonna-Britney thing... I personally could care less about it, either way. They are both irrelevant to my life.

Diane,
I am with you on this one. That is sickening and I would have quit much earlier than that! The report abuse button is over-used by some but I believe it is a necessary evil and I think that YA is attempting to enforce it with too few people working. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks,
Eds

Pictures aren't evil. The intent behind it might be, but not the picture. Pictures are inanimate objects, and thus unable to make a good/evil determination. Furthermore, you prove yourself to be in need of sound doctrine yourself since you pronounced judgment on that person. Do you know that person personally? By what right do you call them evil? Have you never sinned? If you have, shall I not call you evil as well? Just because something offends you doesn't make it evil, nor does it empower you to call someone down for it. We are not given a commission by God to judge the world or to stamp out sin and evil. Our commission is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in love. Congratulations, and thank you, for setting us back 1,000 years. You've just done more to harm our cause than Charles Manson.

English... this is going to be the devil's language... oh, seem! devil spelled backward is lived! And seem spelled backward is kool! Yeah, this is the artwork of jebus... it particularly is subej spelled backward... they are basically words (properly, different than for jebus and subej!) that have developed with the aid of the years into the English language. each and every be conscious would properly be spelled backward... does no longer propose it has a secret which potential.

I don't have a problem with the picture, though I don't particularly like either Madonna or Britney. But if two women want to kiss one another, that's their thing and I mind my own business. I'm not offended.
You really left a site because of something that petty?

I did not find the kissing evil but more so boring and thought these celebrities are attention seekers.
I must add...are you telling me you live a moral life? You never drove pass the speeding limit, litter..etc????? If you did then you are a criminal in the eyes of the law.
I advise you to get off your high morality horse and live life a little...start by stepping out the house.

Oh, there is absolutely nothing evil about a picture of two people kissing.

Britney Spears singing, that maybe might be evil, but kissing between two grown-ups just isn't. Chill out.

It's only evil because it was a dishonest marketing ploy.

It's not evil in a religious sense because the Bible doesn't say anything about women kissing each other to market their images more powerfully. And of course all truths are in the Bible, since every single word of it is literally true and anyone who doesn't think so is going to burn to a crisp.

I find your picture offensive. It should be removed. Please change it to something more neutral. Such as two female celebrities kissing.

Report abuse is to report abuse. Clearly that picture was not considered abuse. I'm sure that site wasn't literally anything goes - just very liberal. They would probably act on reports of, for instance, illegal behavior.
