I had this about a month ago,and it lasted 3 days. Today is the 3rd day again and I feel really sick when I eat,I usually feel it about 15-20 minutes after eating. I am burping alot, I don't feel like eating as I hate how I feel after. I am not pregnant. Even when I do eat I cannot eat much. Any clues??

I haven't eaten in a little over 12 hours. And I won't eat either. I feel queasy now,and really don't want to worsen it and food does just that. I can drink milk and juice with no ill effects. I am at a loss on this, will be mentioning to the dr today.

I've had some of the same problems. My first recommendation would be to see the doctor. It could be acid reflux - sometimes certain medications work better with certain people than others, so that might be why the meds didn't work. But if this is a persistent problem, there are different tests they can run (upper/lower GI, where you drink a liquid and they monitor the process to see what's causing problems; endoscopy, where they put a camera into your system to see what they can see; etc) to determine what the root of your problem is. But don't panic! And try not to self-diagnose - that can often be more scary than helpful. I'd contact a gastroenterologist (stomach doctor). Mine did a world of good for me!

You need to go to the doctor it sounds like you have a duodenal ulcer since you don't feel ill untill 15-30 minutes after eating. There are many great meds out there but you need to see your doc now to rule out some very serious side effects. Monitor your bowels if they look black or tarry then you definately have a bleeding ulcer which can become emergent. IF you were given a PPI or H2 blocker and it did not help then your doc should see that you may have a H. pylori infection which requires antibiotic and bismuth to be given also. send me a line with any specific questions

The other answers you have received Here are all very valid.

I recommend you purchase papaya tablets at any health food store and start eating them immediately. They have enzymes that balance the stomach and will take away acid reflex. They taste very good and you can't eat as many as you want because they are food.

30 minutes before eating use Lecithin granules 1tsp. in a glass of water. This will help the digestive process throughout the gallbladder and liver.

i'm wondering either gall bladder or chest pains, as in your heart. for women, symptoms of heart issues tend to be masked.
