Checkout the site on the link below. They list about 12 turbocharger kits your V6 Mustang. One of them should meet your needs.
Be aware that increasing your horsepower without beefing up the rest of your drive-train will cause problems.
The stock connecting rods, pistons and crankshaft need to be replaced. The pistons need to be specific for a turbocharged application.
The stock V6 transmission is not rated for this much power and needs to be replaced. You will also need an aftermarket clutch.
You will also need to do some suspension modifications to plant the power to the pavement, or all you will do is fry the tires.
By the way, you also need better tires.
Your V6 differential and axles are not up to the task of 400 horsepower. They need to be modified or replaced.
The turbocharger and modifications will cost you $6000 - $8000. And you will still have problems with slightly modified V8 GTs.
Why not sell your V6 Mustang and find a V8 Mustang GT. This will give you a better base vehicle to start with.

As the others have stated, there is more to it than just sticking a turbo on the engine. All of the cars systems are designed to work together and they are matched. Once you change one part and increase the power that it can put out, then you have to do the same thing with the rest of it.
A chain is only as good as it's weakest link.
It actually may be cheaper and better to go ahead and purchase a different Mustang. Find one with the V-8 and then you are set. It you need something over 400hp then consider finding a Shelby GT500. That way the suspension will match the 500hp it comes with. They are also making a Super Snake with either 600+hp and comes with a warranty or one with 725hp and no warranty.
Good luck.

A turbo charger will produce a maximum of 1-2 lbs of boost on the 3.8 V6 in your 'Stang. This might increase hp to 200-220, depending on other mods already on the car.
I am sure with some searching, there is a turbo kit available. A good mechanic can take any small turbo charger and install it in any engine. The tricky part is getting the fuel injection control computer tuned to adjust for the added boost.
A supercharger would be capable of increasing boost as high as 7 lbs and could take the hp up aroung 250-280.
At these power levels, you will need some serious rubber to transfer it all to the road.

Why go to all the trouble when the junk yards are full of v6 T-birds with superchargers that will fit your engine. Look for Supercoupes

why bother when you can get a factory supercharged engine in the junkyard for under $1,000, just look for a 89-95 Thunderbird Supercoupe, they have the 3.8 V6 with Eaton supercharger! factory 210 hp, but with a undersize pulley have 250 hp stock.
There is a rebuilder that claims 450 hp on the dyno for these engines
Coy Miller Engines
450 hp 3.8 engines
