hi , my hubby's younger brother just got married Lat Nov.
This SIL in the intial days was very friendly . but with time she is showing different colours.
She barely speaks to my hubby ..we are in joint family .
And, she has a very weird expression on her face. She will talk to me as if we are friends a day or two and then , she will become absolutely cold for days. she will pass "thru" me like behave as if im not even present.
IF im wearing new clothes she will as me " where did you buy them from"? which shop? and this continues almost everyday.
etc etc .
Now how do i behave with her ...she is very irrittating and i really cannot see myself puuting with such weird attitude forever!

She sounds moody. I would just treat her like you would when shes friendly. Dont let her moods affect you, shes not that important.

I know where you're coming from. My piece of advise is to ignore her as well. But not trying to be hostile. That way she will feel that she can't control you with her mood swings. If she ask where you buy your things that she likes, you point the other stores where she wont find it. But, if she talks to you, talk to her but not in a very friendly manner. Hope this works for you.

Just try not to engage in too much chit chat with her... Be friendly at family gatherings but, keep personal business to yourself.. She may be just looking to start trouble in the family.. If she asks you where you got your clothes and you dont' feel like telling her prices/brands etc.. Just say they were a gift... Converse with her on her good days and on her "weird" days just hang around other family members.. Maybe she'll "snap out of it.." Just be glad you didnt' marry her RIGHT !

it looks like shes using you, she only talk to you for her own good & when she done you ignore you & she not a friend so ignore her from now on even if she ask you something ignore her & don;t answer her
