Don't worry so much about carbs! Just exercise and eat a tiny bit less (about 300 calories less) . . . you should see a difference in two weeks. You'll probably lose about 5 lbs in that time. After that, just go back to the diet you had before, but continue exercising. But you really don't need to lose any weight . . . not one bit. Good luck!

You can lose a lot! Probably 10-15lbs! If you really eat low low carb.

This is not a good idea though because not only do I find high protein low carb diets hard to stick to you can easily gain the weight back after eating carbs again. People often end up gaining weight on these diets because not having carbs creates a lot of cravings and often people binge.

If you choose to do this low carb diet good luck but I would reccommend doing more of a lifestyle change. I think Weight Watchers is one of the best diets. It's only 12 dollars a week and they teach you how to eat well. Also if you have never really evaluated your nutrition you can make small changes that will make a huge difference. Some things to consider would be cutting out sugary drinks, eating more protein, tons of veggies!

Depends on your definition of workout. Realistically, a couple of pounds.

Protein/carb thing isn't terribly relevant. Calories is the important thing, as in "how many" vs. your daily requirements.
