baking soda is one of the best ways to do it... brush with water to get rid of any loose plaque or food, floss, brush again with water and then brush with baking soda...

my mum's dad used to do his teeth this way all the time - never used toothpaste - and he had the whitest, healthiest teeth

nothing is really going to make a noticable difference other than strips or professional whitening, making sure you avoid staining things like coffee, tea, cigarettes, etc. will help keep them from staining more, and brushing regularly is always good, but baking soda and whitening toothpastes really aren't going to make a diff., if you want whiter teeth, get the strips, they're easy and work quickly and aren't uber spendy

Use "Bicarbonate of Soda" to brush your teeth with. However, you must make sure that you rinse your mouth well afterwards as not only will you taste the Bicarbs but it can damage the enamel if left on the teeth.

They have whitening toothpastes... Also coffee and soda put stains on your teeth, so stay away from those.
