Its a great Question!
I cannot learn I will never teach!
I cannot cook I will never feed!
I cannot love I can never love!

The Human Race.......we are all in the same boat together, or the same race track, or the same road........and so on.

Stop passing off platitudes as pearls of wisdom . You haven't lived long enough to know this But as a rule the last person that anybody gets to know is themselves.
For example read all the Q&A's that the Fundies give. They are so caught up in enjoying their moment in the sun they they don't realize that they will soon be extinct. We all know it because we have the advantage of distance which allows us to gain proper perspective. It's the same thing with individuals ,It's diificult to be objective about yourself But that doesn't stop you from being objective about others.

I'm not able to do much running anymore, and never had much use for horses - always preferred mules, so races are out of the picture for me the remainder of this lifetime, thinks I.

I know myself middling well, but never managed to really know anyone else. Thought I did a good many times, but always proved myself wrong in the end.

If I am part of a race I cannot extrapolate my experiences and apply them exclusively to all members of my race - i.e. because I believe something all other whites must believe it. I also cannot extrapolate and say all non-members of my race do not have the same thoughts/experiences purely because they are not of my race - i.e. because I think this blacks cannot think similarly.

Race has nothing to do with understanding and everything to do with prejudice.

To know others is wise, to know oneself is enlightened wisdom, a Chinese saying, as far as the race part of this question, could you not be so vague?
