how can he apply for polish passport is his dad polish?are you married with a polish?
if yes then the application has to be made in poland .the applications are not taken from britain.even polish children born in the uk are only given temporary passports to travel to poland with their parents and get registered over there.as it is very complicated.i know because my son is polishand we had to go there to register his birth and get his polish birth certificate.well once you have your birth certificate translated into english ,ask the polish consulate the contact of their official translator and he will do it for you.then you can start the procedure.
good luck
to reinsure you from an other answer

look up yellow pages in your area you will find plenty of translation firms who will do this for you at a cost. Why not just get it translated into Polish or do you particularly want an English translation.

A birth certificate is issued in the official language adopted by the civil registry issuing it and cannot be translated into other languages.
