$599,000 loan for only $1,927/mo. No social security number required.? I pasted this from Yahoo homepage...

I found this ad on Yahoo Homepage which is my homepage. I clicked on it and it connected me with a agent. I asked if Lending Tree was soliciting to illegal immigrants by advertising that no social security number was required and she disconnected me. Sheesh I was just wondering!

Can terrorists get loans without social security numbers.. She didn't let me ask!

As long as employers are able to deduct wages of illegals from taxes we will have this problem. If the one part of the system is straightened out maybe it will effect the others. They do it because they can

Check out Senate Bill 1849 being worked on by Gordon Smith...http://www.larslarson.com/Commentary/NWReports/228812.aspx This is an interesting approach. If the employers hit the illegals by getting their deductions hit maybe some of the free no ss # situations will correct themselves. If Lending Tree can do it so can other companies. Good question!

Let us all get the real facts straight. The illegal immigrants are coming from third-world countries. In other words, these countries have corrupted governments and weak economies that perpetuate more corruption and weaker economies. This cause a ripple affect in not producing an educated working class. And it perpetuates poverty and more uneducated people. Illegal immigrants are uneducated and will do anything to get a job at the expense of breaking overall US security. Ask if they care and if they do answer then they will say no. And don’t forget the gangs and organized crime that feeds on illegal immigrants. Drugs, child prostitution, terrorism, etc. – need I say more. But let us not blame the problem 100% on illegal immigrants. American big and small businesses are equally to blame. Additional Comments: Good point, Mad Kat.

Weird.I hate those lending co.they really rip people off. they take advantage of the poor.
On a different but similar subject, I was wondering if the CIA watches the money exchange stands in Europe?
I am living in Hungary and there are exchange booths all over the tourist areas. In the past we made some dollar exchanges and the people who ran them were from the middle east. They are required to give you a record of the transaction. All do except the middle eastern booths.I no longer go to them for exchanges but was wondering if they could be money laudering for terrorist groups.I would hate to think that I accidentally helped buy a bomb against the US.

Lending tree BUYS equity from a home that you already own, it is not really a loan, and yes, non-us citizens can qualify, because if they default, they loose their home!
Terrorists do not need this type of extremely high interest. on the books type of "loan", they are funded in other illegal means!

I believe under the US Patriot Act you must be a US citizen to get a loan from any source. this occureed after the Sept. 11 attack on "America.

Wow if they are saying no SSN required then I would assume your answer to be yes. Any legal immigrant has a SSN. And any American has a SSN, so that leaves....illegals!

The Americans are only interested in the almighty dollar, dose not matter what they do to get it legal or otherwise.

Maybe they are. But there are Americans who wouldn't want to give out their social # either.

The lady probably disconnected you because she doesn't have time to bother with people who aren't really looking for a loan.
