Hi fellow brothers and sisters. Is it possible to Witness online? It would be alot less scary. If we can, is there a good website where we already do? No nasty answers please!

Hi, i am not a JW but i wanted to answer anyway :). Well from what i have read on sites not only authorised by the watchtower orginisation, you are not meant to go on sites unless they have been approved by the governing body. Also, isn't the whole point of witnessing to actually go out of your way to spread your truth to others? Not just sit at home on the computer?
Also, isn't the whole Internet seen as a bad thing by your organisation because information and proof against the stuff you guys are taught is so freely available?

It is certainly possible to perform Christian witnessing using the internet, just as it is possible to perform a ministry using the telephone or letter-writing. However, true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) have long recognized that there is no substitute for person-to-person preaching such as was performed by Jesus and the apostles.

(Matthew 10:7,11,14) As you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’ ...Into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is deserving... Wherever anyone does not take you in or listen to your words, on going out of that house or that city shake the dust off your feet.

maybe they would listen more, than in person...maybe you should start with lilith, she seems to think you are gonna get paid for it...but true,,those who have websites, probably require you to pay...I think the computer has opened many ways of communicating our ideas, good or bad,,if we can have porno websites,I don't see anything wrong with a witnessing website...but in order to advertise you'd have to have pop-ups like an angel popping up and asking you are you saved? it could get annoying..I know there are christian chatrooms, but then weird-o's come in and talk unkind..I commend you for wanting to witness..to people...good luck!

they do it all the time on here..I am sure they are getting plenty of time to report on their cards. I have to wonder if they didn't have to report how much time they did how many would be knocking on doors..
