Hi i am trying to download the old version of winmx 3.54 beta i cant seem to get it connected i used to have it but recently i have just changed broadband networks and i was just wondering if anyone can help me connect again p.s it is the free one many thanks in advance

Ahem, WinMx is not dead. I'm using it now. I've had no problems with it at all, but connecting takes a few minutes. However the guy who started it has quit, so new users are not able to join up. There are loads of us still on there, sharing away.
Try Mxpie.com for patches.

As mindchamber12 says, winmx is dead now. It was crap anyway so no big deal there.
My recommendation would be to download a BitTorrent client such as uTorrent or BitComet. uTorrent is actually the best P2P BitTorrent client out there and it is only a small download.

To download a torrent, go to a website such as mininova or isohunt, download the torrent you want and then open it in the BitTorrent client.

WinMX is dead, the network is dead and even their site is dead. Use a different P2P, such as limewire or a bitorrent client of choice. Both are free and fast.
