What do you think employers want to see when I go on job interviews? Should they check out my nice, long hair OR does it look better if I keep it up in an elegant hairstyle?

It is always best to have long hair tied back in a pony tail for an interview and don't fiddle with it. Make sure your makeup is subtle but cover blemishes and highlight your eyes. Don't wear big earrings.

You didn’t mention what position or industry you were seeking employment in.

If you are working around machinery, put-up your hair in an “elegant hairstyle”.

In an office environment, I don’t have any objection to long hair.

BUT just to be on the same side as [possibly] your future employer, I think it would be a good idea to ask what the company policy is toward long hair. You could call “Human Resources” or just as a shift was ending, you could watch from your car or the street to see how the ladies wear their hair OR ask someone who works there.

I’m sorry, I don’t mean to insult or hurt you. HOWEVER, IF its food service or working in a club as a bartender or server, unless or until you found a way to put up your “long hair” using a hat or hair net [or possibly make an appointment at your favorite beauty salon to get your hair cut.], personally, I wouldn’t hire you at all. [I don’t want any of your long hair - or anyone else’s for that matter - in anything I eat or drink.]

I wish you well!

VTY,
Ron B.

Keep it neat, clean & tidy.

You are right that it can make a difference in how you do your hair.

It would be nice if you could see how people do their hair where you are doing the interview beforehand.

If you can't then just do it the way you feel most comfortable with.

Well I think the main thing is to wear your hair the way that makes you feel most confident. I myself would wear it down. II quess it depends to on what kind of job you are applying for. If it is a very big extravagant company where you feel you would need to wear it up most of the time, then maybe i would go up.

I prefer hair that will is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like women are more often then not directly, they like long hair because it looks more feminine, as most males have short hair.

I think you should keep it up in a nice bun or any other elegant hairstyle...make sure you wear hairspray etc so it doesnt go messy because you'll need to create that first good impression.

some thing clever, yet in addition some thing you experience delicate in. in case you like donning fits, decide for that. If no longer, you need to positioned on a knee length gown with tights and a jacket or cardigan. in basic terms no longer something too vivid or OTT and in no way denims!

They should not be checking out anything. Hair should be neat at an interview. I would say pull it back.
