My 06 Cobalt is a corporate double din. I want to install the AVIC D3. But that's a for a double din. Does this mean that the installation will look funny if I put it in?

Does the vehicle have OnStar? If so do you want to keep it?

Is the information(temp, oil, engine, etc.) display built into the radio or on the dash? If it's on the radio your better off getting it installed at a CAR Stereo shop.

That's the second time I've heard the term "corporate" double-DIN, and I still don't know what it means. Where did you get that term?

To put a double-DIN radio into a Cobalt, use an adapter kit like this one: http://www.cardomain.com/item/SCOGM1599B

This makes for a very nice-looking installation; much closer to a stock look than a single-DIN in a kit.
