hole different league than over the counter orals.So again I ask why doesn't the usa do what europe does and use adequan to treat osteoarthritis?

The first part of your question appears to be a response to another user. YahooAnswers is not set up for easy response/reply to other like a chat program. It's more of a "one question" & "one answer" type of format.

But, to answer your question, Adequan is permitted in the USA. It is used for horses and dogs. I don't know if it's under FDA review for human use.

I realize it provides instant relief, but it's only available for animals. That's why I suggested using the capsules. It's better than nothing. Many treatments that are used in different countries are not approved in the USA. I believe it's because there's a lot of money being made by pharmaceutical companies and they certainly don't want to see a cure that will take away their dollars. It's sad but true.

The best medical treatment I ever received was in another country by a Cuban doctor. I was highly impressed at how advanced their medical treatment was versus America.
