You are correct.
I do get a little upset when I defend the gospel......and I need to remember that it's not about me.....it's about Him.
I have a passion for the truth

It does not bother me. Actually it helps me see much of what the Bible has said would be, so it is exciting in a way. I remember this man years ago. He would say; "When a person goes to work, they get in their car thinking they headed toward work, but, actually they are headed toward God". I think of what the man said many times when I see an unbeliever in the Religious section. They think they are ridiculing God, when in their hearts they are seeking Him. Why else would a person come to a section they not believe in, I not answer Gay questions unless maybe I just not realize the section and never ridicule if I do (It their life and I respect that), but, I do not go where I not have a desire for.

I don't get upset. When I get a nasty E mail, I know that the truth has struck a nerve. I am thankful to God that the truth is going forth. I don't know how many people read the answers, or are touched by them. But if only one comes to salvation, it is all worth it.

Absolutely yes yes yes. It isnt about you or me, or anyone else. Its only about God. We must not receive the bait of offense and feel the need to attack back, that is the devils way, not Gods. Jesus is our peace and our hope. We live in that spirit of hope, not of fear. WE can speak our mind, but we dont have to lose our peace and joy in the process. God gives us that peace and joy, and who are we to give all that up and to do it for someone that wont even receive God. that is blasphemy. no thanks. I keep Gods love joy and peace at all times, because He is living in me.
God bless you . great question.

nothing is worth losing your peace over but all of us lose our peace all the time. It's like that old joke of the person asking a hippy how to get to Carnegie Hall and the guy answers "practice, man, practice.

No, for we have the PEACE that surpasses all understanding. Nothing can affect that peace unless we in our immaturity allows it into our lives. We do not speak these words and remind ourselves enough when we do not read the WORD. Faith coming by hearing.

Of course not. Most people in the world don't know this site exists and go about their business. Think of it that way to put it in perspective. I started my Internet experience on this site, but I'm starting to spread my wings.

They might seem to.
But don't forget.... this is the Internet. Apparent expressions here are not necessarily accurate representations of what a person is feeling on the other end.
Then again... if they ARE taking things too seriously then that is their own stupid fault. They're not hurting anyone by it but themselves....
And if you won't live for yourself but instead live in servitude to an imaginary overlord then that is YOUR own stupid fault... and your problem to deal with.
[Note: Despite what your eyes might tell you, I'm fairly non-emotive. There is no emotion behind my posts, and all is to be taken in a matter-of-fact tone at best.]
