What a lot of people don't understand or don't want to understand is that the Ark could be as big as Hawaii or as small as a chestnut. Anything is possible for God.

you fairly could examine the Bible particularly of listening to what others say. Noah took 2 each and every of the unclean animals and 7 each and every of the sparkling animals. in the previous the flood, all animals alongside with people have been vegetarians. This replaced after the flood. Noah took in straight forward terms representatives of each and every animal type. Many animals did no longer could desire to be on the ark. Like some fish and reptiles that stay in water. There at the instant are not as many considerable species as you think of. Take canine for occasion. they arrive from wolves yet there are a number of categories of canine. an analogous with cats. maximum animals are not to any extent further than a sheep or cow. Non religious human beings will seek for faults in the Bible. particularly of finding for a achieveable answer, they are going to be satisfied that the Bible is incorrect. Too undesirable.

Load of nonsense. Probably bigger considering the MILLIONS of species in the world.
Primoa1970, you seem to be proselytising a bit ;p Maybe we should have a debate on the nature of truth under the Philosophy section...
Or wait, of course the measurements in the bible can be correct. If its the same kind of building as Death's house or Unseen University in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, ie. a lot bigger inside than outside.

The size of an aircraft carrier. You forget that the animals we have today came from only a few original types of animals.
Example: with all the different species of dogs we have today, there were only about 3 original pairs that stemmed from these. Most dogs today WE bred into different breeds.
The same with horses, cows, and most domestic animals.
If you are really SERIOUS about your question, go to answersingenesis.org, or do an Internet search. you will be amazed.

Noah had the instructions from God and I am sure the ark met the purpose. Everything was in the ark that God wanted to be in the ark. : )

Back then, the only animals were goats and donkeys, hamsters, camels and stuff. God hadn't invented Asian elephants, African elephants, black rhinoceros, walrus, manatees, hippos, giant lemurs, gorillas or emus yet. God had only made animals that were either small, or useful for MAN. Even cats weren't made up yet, due to their uselessness. I think somewhere in the bible it talks about how these other animals came up out of the post-flood mud.

Personally I just want to see the chaos of having lions, elephants, and all the other animals on one ship. Imagine the amount of s--t they'd have to clean up.

Noah: "Hey son, have you seen the cobra? He got out again."

It specifically states it's size in the bible. Oh wait, that would assume you have read it. Not likely.

What the Genesis account says about the flood is truth.....whether you believe that or not.

The truth is still the truth my friend.

The bible gives us the measurements......don't know them off the top of my head....but they're in there.
