As a psych graduate I am astonished to see how much faith people put in modern psychology. Any psych academic worth his salt knows that psychology is a totaly crude science on par with when doctors where drilling holes in peoples heads to release the evil spirits.
Most people these days have stopped going to confessors. Yet they now go to psychologists and do exactly the same thing.

I agree with you about psychology, but I'd observe drilling holes in peoples heads worked fairly well, considering.

Psycology is a study of human behaviour, why would you need to have "faith" in that? That's like saying you have "faith" in maths.
