By "sustainable" do you mean a renewable source, or long lasting? Wood, bamboo or straw are some renewable materials, concrete is long lasting but uses mined minerals so it probably would not be considered "renewable". Steel can be recycled, but the initial source is not renewable like wood.

Sustainable implies renewable or reusable.
Think adobe, straw, sod (as in prairie sod homes) bamboo, wood if properly handled as in "certified green" where growers demonstrate their commitment to management . I don't know the details.
Resources that there is a lot of.
Stone, steel(iron), aluminum, glass
Many materials could be sustainable if managed appropriately
Manufacturing the cement in concrete produces greenhouse gases
