My Church ticks all the right boxes, because it's message is "God First" and is a very friendly happy place. I go because I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, not because of family tradition.

My family does not go to Church, but I do (so I don't carry on a family tradition).
History of The Church (Jesus Christ's Church) helped me find the answer to your first question.

Between churches right now. Still looking for one. Never went to carry a family tradition. Always based on doctrine.

My parents didn't go to church and neither did I, they didn't bring me up a Christian or any other faith. I got saved during a friend's baptism service which was on the beach, and I decided to attend her church as God had saved me whilst I was with her. My husband prefers a different type of church, as mine is very lively and uses the gifts of the spirit openly, so once a month we attend a quieter church too.

I prefer to go to a local church and there are only two churches in my village, an Anglican and a Baptist. I went to the Baptist because I like the freer worship style, but about 6 years ago about half of us left because we felt the leadership were becoming too isolationist (everybody else was wrong we were the only people worshipping God properly), so I now go to the Anglican.
There are quite a few things I do not like, but I do feel God is present and is central to everything undertaken.

I don't go to church. I am an atheist.
No, I don't carry on my family tradition. I'm proud to say, I've broken away from old superstitions and will not be passing that nonsense on.
