I recently moved my Satellite receiver from upstairs to downstairs and now its giving me the "Acquiring Satellite Signal" attention box, I was wondering if it should eventually find the satellite, and if so how long? Otherwise is there anything I can do to find it, and if not, Should I call them and schedule a technician to come fix it?

as long as you didn't move the dish, the receiver will find the signal shortly. Double check the connections and make sure they are ok

if u moved the antenna, u need to realign the antenna.

the setup menu should give u some information as to an approx aiming position.

then use the signal strength indicator to zero it in.

As long as you didn't move the dish it's self, you should be OK.
You did plug in the original cable, right?
