when someone (say jane) says a person (say Bill) has crush on her, does that mean the feeling is only directed toward that someone (Jane)? In other words, when the someone(Jane) says crush, that means that someone(Jane) is not interested in Bill, right?

I honestly don't know because the someone has been sending so much mixed messages. Sometimes she act interested but sometimes she's plain uninterested in me.

Usually when I hear the word "crush" I think of it as one-sided. A student has a crush on a teacher, an eighty year old woman has a crush on Brad Pitt. It sounds like she doesn't feel the same way...although she might be saying it to test out what other people say, and to get used to the idea herself. You never know, she might be keen on you but isn't prepared to own up to it yet....

When you have a crush on a person, it means that you are interested. It does not necessarily mean that she is not interested if she says that you have a crush on her.

It means that you are interested in that person. You want to know about that person.
