There is no service that will tell you the total history of that 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan all wheel drive with a 3.8 V6 engine! Carfax or Autocheck can tell you the title history, and may or may not tell you if the van has been damaged in an accident.

The vehicle history companies get their information from public records and insurance claims. If the van was damaged and no claim was made (the repair was paid for without going through insurance) then it would not show on a vehicle history report.

You also will not have the maintenance history. If the vehicle was serviced only at the dealer, you may be able to get that history, but if they owner had the work done at a private shop, or did it themselves, they would have the only records!

You would have to pay for a Carfax or other vehicle history report. Nothing in life is free!

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.
