Very good sen.. yes you have to wadu in the shower or bath also to make full intention to Allah that your going to pray for the sake of quran reading or prayer.
The action of Wadu must be done, in the shower or bath no matter what even if you jumped in a vat of acid heaven forbid you would still need to make the action of wadu.. Salam

There is no right word for Arabic Text as from Allah SWT to english that is why we have meanings and transtations there of... the way you hear is how it should be spelled. WADU
lol
:)
spell it how you like there is no wrong answer.. sheikh shaikh, shiakh.. whatever you think the letters that are needed to make it sound as such in the Quran.. there is no possible way you can take the Word of Allah into English without loosing meaning and hidden everything! Salam
THAT IS WHY ITS BROUGHT THAT WAY, NOT ONLY BECASUE OF THE MOTHER TOUNGE OF PROPHET BUT THAT IS WHY ITS STRUCTURE ALONE IS ENOUGH PROOF.. SEE IF YOU CAN MATCH IT YOU WILL FAIL EVERYTIME JUST LIKE THEY DID 1428 YEARS AGO JUST LIKE THEY ARE NOW... ONLY ALLAH MADE THAT BOOK BECAUSE OF HOW ITS LANGUAGE IS BROUGHT ALONE IS ENOUGH PROOF! SALAM

Yes! Wadu is specific its not just to be clean. Example you can shower without washing hair or rinsing your mouth or the inside of your nose. All these things have to be washed to pray.

Yes you can perform Wadu while in the shower or before a bath but a bath or shower alone is not enough.

Yes we muslims still have to make wadu (I think the right word is wudhu) even though we had a shower or bath because wadu is a requirement preparation before shalat or praying. But if we taking a bath or shower like a wadu starting from washing arms, mouth ,nose and face and then right hand and left hand, wrapping hair and right ear and then left ear and the last right leg and left leg so it is no need to take a wadu..After bathing like a wadu we can not urinate and other thing that will abolish the validity of a wadu. before we finished praying..Islam wants cleanliness.Salam for you too

If you take a bath by washing first the right side of your body, then the left, then your head, then the whole body: you are not to make wudu anymore. It is like taking a bath and making wudu at the same time. But if you took a bath in another way, make wudu without feet washing.

Ghusl and wudu are two different things. While the intention is the same, the application is different.

If, during your shower or bath, you have done the motions of Wudhu then you do not have to do it again. Unless you do something that invalidates your wudhu. Allah knows best!
