I wrote this down from the film Spanglish:
Late Night BLT Sandwich with Fried Egg and Cheese
Ingredients:
~3-4 thick slices bacon
~2 Slices Monterey Jack Cheese
~2 Slices Pain de Campagne (Rustic country loaf), Toasted
~1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
~4 Slices Tomato
~2 Leaves butter Lettuce
~1 Teaspoon Butter
~1 Egg
Directions:
Cook the bacon until crisp, drain on paper towels and set aside.
Place the slices of cheese on one slice of the toasted bread and place in a toaster oven or under a broiler to melt the cheese.
Spread the other slice of toast with the mayonnaise, top with the cooked bacon, the sliced tomato, and the lettuce.
In a nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Fry the egg, turning over briefly when the bottom is set. (Keep the yolk runny!)
Slide the finished egg on top of the lettuce. Top with the other slice of toast, melted cheese side down. Place the sandwich on a plate and slice in half, letting the yolk run down the sandwich.
Makes one late night sandwich.

Sarin that sounds good! I had forgot about that movie.
I like Panini-grilled sandwhiches. Cuban's are good. Fried Oyster or Fried Grouper Po' Boy's are excellent. Philly-Cheese-Steak's are excellent. Something lighter ? Try Grilled Portabella Mushroom sandwhiches W/ Havarti Cheese OR Cucumber/Fresh Dill sandwhiches on Rye W/Baby Swiss Cheese.
Smoked Salmon W/Cream cheese, Bacon, Bib Lettuce & Tomato on toasted Ciabata roll.
Country-Fried Steak sandy W/ brown Gravy served "open-faced" on Texas Toast. Make sure the gravy has jalepeno's in it!
Gyro sandy W/ cucumber yogurt sauce and fresh veggies!
(I could go on and on, BUT I'm hungry now and I'm gonna go make a "Spanglish" egg sandy!)
Good luck!

I honestly love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches... they sound discusting, but are VERY good! Make sure you don't use any hydrogenated protien peanut butters, like Jiff or Skippy, because they tend to be sweeter. Adams is a good one to use... nice and natural. Also, make sure you are very hungry because these sandwiches are filling. Mmmm.
I also like cheese sandwiches with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and dijon mustard. Delicious :D

Hummous with tomato and freshly torn lettuce on a pitta bread is always a winner. . . . mmmmmmmm!
Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and salami is nice (use ciabatta or something tasty).
Cream cheese and smoked ham on a bagel.
