If you are a Jack drinker and do not mix it with coke, here are some variations on the whiskey trail you might want to try.
Old Overholt is a rye whiskey instead of a corn based whiskey
Makers Mark is a straigth Kentucky Bourbon whiskey that is smooth and aged for approximately 6 years. It will not destroy your pocket book
If you mix your whiskey with water, try Canadian Club, a Seagrams product.
Here is an idea for your Jack. In a rock glass , squeeze a quarter lime into the bottom of the glass. Fill with ice and then pour the Jack over the ice. Add a splash of water and let the drink sit for one to two minutes.
Another variation to try is a Jack Old Fashion. If you do not know what that is, just ask the bartender for one. If he or she knows what they are doing they will ask you if you want it made with soda or water. Your choice. Also, ask the bartender if Bitters was used in making the drink/ if not, then it is not an Old Fashion.
Finally, if you mix your Jack with coke, I just wasted my valuable time with you.

Get your hands on a Jack or Turkey Single Barrel-neat.
For everyday stuff it's Bushmills Irish Whiskey for me.

I'm a huge Jack Daniels fan, but if your ever looking to class it up Gentleman Jack is a step up in their line. I ask for it every birthday.
