You are a candle.
The little fire is your spirit or life.
God is the big light on top of the Luxor hotel in Vegas that blinds pilots and contributes about 50% of the heat in global warming.
If that big friggin thing pointed at you all your wax would melt and the little fire would have nothing to burn.
Now you know why Gods such a hot head too.

Because if we did, we would die. When Moses was receiving the 10 commandments from God, he didn't actually see God's face. And God told him at Exodus 33:20: "You are not able to see my face, because no man may see me and yet live.”
Us humans are made of frail flesh, so we would not be able to withstand viewing even God’s glory directly. For example when Moses came down from the mountain after having spoken to God, his face emitted rays so much so, that the people were afraid of him, and could not look at him! (Exodus 34:29-35) That was only from speaking with God.
He is simply too great for us to even completely comprehend. He is the Almighty. The Most High as Psalm 83:18 says. We are puny in comparison to Him. But that makes it all the more incredible to know that although He is much much higher and greater than us, He is still interested in us and cares about us. (1 Peter 5:6 & 7.) He is so interested in us individually, that Jesus even said that God knows the number of hairs we have on our head! (Matthew 10:29-31)
Sure, as humans we are curious. That's normal. I think everyone has wondered what God looks like but we do not need to know what He looks like, it is more important for us to know His qualities to be able to love Him and worship Him. His qualities are clearly seen in His creation, as Romans 1:20 says.
And when we do sincerely try learning about Him, He is very pleased and rewards us. (Hebrews 11:6)

God is a spirit - God look like Lord Jesus Christ. Father-Son-Holy spirit - The trinity. How would you ask why is his face hidden from us? There is another saying - God look like eveyone else God own image. One day we die then we can see how God look like. No one dare to see God face. God is holy - you will have fear.

God hasn't face that we can see it (face ) . He wasn't born . Our mind cannot describe or imagine or be able to find His holy non-created kingdom . He is over our mind . Non of us can see His . Yes all of things aroubd of us lesd us to know Him but not to see Him whatever we do.

He's alien to us. Not human looking. Not pretty by our standards. Kinda ugly, really. I don't think he's who they think he is. I think that's right.
Can't sleep and I have to be at work in a few hours. Up all night, work all day. That's not what the song said.

the face of god..... in the old roman tradition, the face of god is the pope.... how many of you were deceived into thnking a man was god......

I don't really care about his face, I just want a shred of evidence that he exists. Then maybe I'd believe in him.
