It can be hard if you are impatient and want to lose weight. You can give up easily and get frustrated. How do you stick with a diet then?

As hard as I might sound, you cannot be impatient when it comes to losing weight. I have battled being overweight all my life. When I was 16 I went six days without eating, lost about 10 lbs, and quickly regained it after I began eating. I weighed 190 in my teens and lost it down to about 140. I am 5'8" so that really is ok. Then again, 4 years ago, while middle-aged, my weight got up to 188 lbs. What really took it off was that I had a job that what physically demanding, I took a bike back and forth to work, I ate, but not obsessively, and tried not to eat before bed time. What you need to do, if you are overweight right now, is not feel bad about yourself. People would much rather be with someone who is overweight and nice than a more bitchy person who isn't. I know, people do judge on your appearance. The only thing that ever worked for me was changing my habits. Exercising more, eating good food (not necessarily "Diet") and not eating before bed time. There really is nothing more depressing than feeling you are "fat," I know. But impatience doesn't really work in this dept. Wish you the best.

its not the diet, its YOU that you have to work on, its your self control over your mind, good things in life doesnt come easy, you really got to have to find something deeper in yourself to be healthy or loose weight, make a list of why you are wanting to loose weight, and out of 10 10 being a good reason and ask yourself where would you be in 3 months, 1 years, 10 years time if u follwed the diet.

do u think people look good over night? sorry hunny, I think thats whats wrong with the people of todays society, our body ist like a drive through, its not run like a burger chain, just watch nature in general. they dont rush to get things done, just be patient and continue the diet and stick with it, you WILL not buy health from a fast food store.

Go to your doctor and ask to be put on a drug called Phentermine (that's the generic name, not sure what the brand name is where you live - in New Zealand it is called Duromine).
You can't take it long term, and you must ensure that you train yourself to have good habits while you are on it.
I lost about 60lbs over 4 months while I was taking it.
This website explains more about the effects of the drug.

firstly you dont do it because your embarrassed of your body. you do it because you want to feel great about your self. make a diet plan. eat when your hungry..not because your bored. you need to eat a healthy breakfast in the morning, like a bananna. and a salad for lunch. and one peice of meat for dinner, about the size of your fist. and some vegtables to fruit. you can also eat two heathy snacks during the day. work out atleast 3 times a week for thirty minutes each. running would probably be the best anwser. and you will feel like 10x's better about yourself and look alot better too.

if you eat like, 5 small meals a day it will keep your metabolism going. when you eat and then stay hungry the next time you want to eat your body goes into starvation mode and just stores that food you ate instead of digesting it. just eat a bunch of small meals and maybe try to walk wherever you go.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
