There will always be people to criticize your talent. I know, I used to sing professionally. People paid good money to hear me sing, but there was always a few who said I was no good at it. Your vocal chords have to be exercised in order to increase your talent. That's just a fact that all singers have to deal with. God has already prepared your voice. He has also given you the ability to increase your talent through practice and exercise. Try not to blame God for other people's ignorance. I'd be willing to bet that most of the bad critique you are receiving are from people who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. Don't give up. Singing is a wonderful thing. You can use it to comfort so many people. Don't give up on your God given talent.
Just like God gives us faith, we still have to practice it before we can use it effectively. Don't lose heart, your God given voice will be used effectively and touch a lot of hearts if you practice the gift. Peace.

the best thing for you to hear after you sing in constructive criticism but you must be wise about where it comes from allot of people out there will put you down because they think it is funny if you have a calling to sing then sing to God and don;t stop til the world has heard take all comments with a grain of salt and know god is pleased that you are making a joyful noise in His honor and to His glory God does not expect perfection and just know that half the people out there in the singing world really can't sing all that good persevere honey do not loose your faith the your criticized you not God

People expressing their opinion about someone on YouTube convinced you to stop singing?
What was it that convinced you God has called you to sing?
Think of some of the most famous and/or popular musicians. Do you like them all? Have you never said ugh, I can't stand that guy/girl/band? That doesn't mean they're bad at what they do, it just means you don't care for it.

Well, first off you said, "I think" God is calling you to be a singer. Have you prayed and asked God to reveal His will concerning this to you? And if God is leading you to be a singer He is going to open that door for you no matter what others say. Don't you remember this oh so true scripture?...
Hebrew 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE.
So that we may boldly say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, AND I WILL NOT FEAR WHAT MAN SHALL DO UNTO ME.
Don't ever give up hope in the LORD. Humble yourself before God right now and pray to Him to strengthen you by His Holy Spirit to overcome all these taunts and foolish sayings. If you love Jesus then sing with all your heart to Him, and fear not what others say for it is God who will bless you in all you do. Not these others.

3. Just wait sometime.
If its yes god will do the best for u.
If there is going to b happen smthing bad to ur life God wont give this to u, cos he loves u.

Here is what gets to me. Why do you think that ''god'' will prepare your voice when there are so many starving people in the world. So many abused children and so many innocent people (children are the most innocent) who are dying and suffering from diseases? Why isn't your ''god'' helping them?
There is no god. Things just happen.

its HARD to determine what your life is meant for, how you are supposed to live it, and see how God wants you to be. I once thought God meant for me to be a Police man to hunt down all the bad guys, well....shortly later I found out, that career I can't do because of a physical problem with my heart, so just take a look around! Life has MANY choices. Still sing! please, if it makes you happy then do it all you wwant! but maybe you're not meant for pro...

God gave you talents before you where born. You agreed to them, The trick is finding out what you agreed to. Being criticized when preforming any kind of art, music, painting, acting, is part of the learning process. You must do what you do because you enjoy it. It is more rewarding when others speak well of it. If you can not please the masses with your voice all it means is that you must learn how to or possibly this is not your talent. In any case this does not mean God does not exist, God does not get involved with your dream to sing. God has a Universe to run.

GENESIS Firth : Fifth
The path is clear
Though no eyes can see
The course laid down long before.
And so with gods and men
The sheep remain inside their pen,
Though many times theyve seen the way to leave.
He rides majestic
Past homes of men
Who care not or gaze with joy,
To see reflected there
The trees, the sky, the lily fair,
The scene of death is lying just below.
The mountain cuts off the town from view,
Like a cancer growth is removed by skill.
Let it be revealed.
A waterfall, his madrigal.
An inland sea, his symphony.
Undinal songs
Urge the sailors on
Till lured by sirens cry.
Now as the river dissolves in sea,
So neptune has claimed another soul.
And so with gods and men
The sheep remain inside their pen,
Until the shepherd leads his flock away.
The sands of time were eroded by
The river of constant change.

I think u weren't really in contact with God when he called u to be a singer.
I think u imagined, in your head, the sign that God gave you.
You were praying to God and you saw yourself singing, that has happened to me and I know that its my imagination, you thought that God wants you to be a singer because you want it.
Don't take this the wrong way, but if you lost faith that quickly, it means you didn't have much of that in the first place.
