I did once. We had been together for a year. It had been a year and a half since we had broken up, and I had forgotten all the reasons I had broken up with him. I broke up with him again 2 weeks later because I remembered why I had broken up with him the first time, he hadn't changed, it just seemed like he did.
Yes an ex is an ex for a reason, but in some situations, even if there was a reason, it can still end up well for at least a little while. Sometimes, you just need something you already know, even if you already know it won't work, but it can still make you feel good for a bit. And sometimes it just ends the second time because you can't handle the hassle your friends give you about it.
But generally it won't last forever because it ended the first time. Unless you were really young when you were together the first time and now you're in your late 20s and things have changed that drastically, then you might have a chance.

getting back with your ex is like putting the taranosorusr before it....together it spells taranosorusrex which is a big and scary dinosaur...very unpredictable not sure if it will work.
If you are looking for happy babies in the future i dont recommend it with this person becuase the dinosaur might eat your babies
Where do you think the dingo ate the baby came from?
the dingo was a cute nickname that charles mansons girlfeince gave him

Usually I don't. All the ex's I never went back too, we're friends. Honest. However the one I did go back to-- which I blame entirely on Snow Patrol-- didn't work. Disaster. It was my fault, though. I couldn't stop looking at other women, but I didn't want to totally break up with her. she was really good in bed and excellent company. i sought a compromise trying to have my cake and eat it too. Just ended up having her hate me forever.

I have several times. Usually it doesn't work, for the same reason it didn't work to begin with. I have given the majority of my exs second chances, and the second time losing someon is just as hard as the first, if not harder.

i got back with my ex, we then married, and had a son together but he hadn't changed and i stuck it for another 3 years before i told him i wanted a divorce. if you want to get back with an ex you need to sort out the reason you split up over in the first place, then it could work. he just promised he'd change but he hadn't and i thought if we married and had child together he would. but god i was wrong.

Yes my ex and I did start our relationship again but no it did not work out, it was for the best anyway (at least I believe so), there were to many hurtful memories between us.

I have and it worked once and the other time it was never close. Depends on why you broke up. Anything can happen but we need to know the reason.

I tried that once. It didn't work. The only thing it did was to reinforce my feeling of what a jerk he really was.
I'm glad I did it though, up until that point I thought I was still in love with the guy.
