Yes, as long as a person over the age of 21 (in most states) is in the car with you some states say the adult has to be a parent or guardian. Other states say someone 25 and over or 21 and over you will have to ask the DMV or call the police department and ask them. You should be able to find out online as well just put in the search permit rules for(state you live in). Rules have changed since I was 16 and I am not even 30 yet so call around if you cant find out anything online.

In most states as long as you have a responsible liscensed driver over thage of 25 years old you can drive. But I'd check the laws in your state just to make sure.

this may already be answered correctly, I DONT think it varies from state to state, if your FATHER is in the passenger seat while youre driving, then your fine to drive any where with anyone else along. The key words being FATHER, and PASSENGER seat... not one of your buddies...
