I started a few days ago and I wanted to know how long it will take me to read from cover to cover, I'm not in any rush though, I'm 13 but I wanted to finish it before I get to high school.
Also, I'm not asking for rude opinions on the Bible, just answers from people who have actually read it.

To 'BhitchyPrincess', I wasn't talking about this post. I have read other questions bible-related that received some harsh answers and I didn't want to put up with them.

No one can tell you the answer to that. It depends on the rate you read. Take a look at how many pages are in your bible. Then read for one hour. Count how many pages you read in the hour. Divide the number of pages in the bible by the number you read in one hour and you will find out how many hours it will take YOU to read the entire bible. This will be an approximation, because you will probably not read at the same pace all of the time, and some pages are not as full of text as others. Good luck on your project. You can do it!

By reading three to five chapters a day, you can read the entire Bible in a year. Don't let the difficult and deep parts put you off. Some have been overwhelmed by their lack of understanding. Hence, many who wanted to read the entire Bible started by first reading the Christian Greek Scriptures, otherwise known as the New Testement .

Depends on how fast you read and if you are comprehending what you read.
From the other post, I didn't read anything that could be considered rude. I think you are misunderstanding what is being said.
As for my point, When I try to read to quickly, I sometimes need to go back and reread to get all the information accurately.
I don't believe anyone was trying to be mean. Not everyone is the same so there is no way to predict how long it will take for you to read the Bible. Everyone is different.

I have not been able to get through the whole bible yet, but I think its really great that you are reading it and that you have a good goal. It will depend on how fast you read, but I suggest that you take a chapter or two a day and you should get through it in about a year. I wish you good luck, and enjoy.

in case you velocity study with the aid of it you could end a e book an afternoon and then some so in undemanding terms a pair months. i might recommend taking longer than that regardless of the indisputable fact that, in case you % to comprehend it. once you're somewhat attracted to working with the aid of it, get a textual content cloth e book with regard to the bible (like a "Survey of the old testomony" or something comparable in call) to get you started out. i found that analyzing the history of the old testomony formerly delving into the textual content cloth replaced into somewhat valuable. it is not somewhat as significant for the recent testomony to have history info on way of existence and stuff regardless of the indisputable fact that.

Maybe a few months if you really read and understand what is being taught. Although the more you read it the more you get out of it.
Good Luck!

If you read just 15 minutes a day it should take one year.
