Who ever told you that eating non-veg makes the body impure? Is it bcoz animals and fish are living beings? Well, let me ask you a simple question.
Don't plants have life? The whole plant dies when we uproot vegetables like potatoes, carrots etc.It has also been proved scientifically tht plants experience pain when vegetables and fruits are hacked off from them. The only difference is tht we witness blood and painful cries while killing animals, while the plants die silently. Both are dead,as a matter of fact.
So,tht means eating vegetables and fruits too make our body a graveyard. So,what shall we do then, friend? Start fasting???

Well, I don't know what you mean by 'we'. You must be perhaps mentioning 'everyone'. If this is true, then you mean that everyone makes a graveyard of his body. You are pointing your finger to the whole world for the sake of a small number of people who have no respect for this body which is god-given. Not everyone smokes, not everyone eats meat, not everyone pollutes his body. I think that teaching and sharing knowledge would be far more useful than just asking why htis why that etc... Think about it lol......

That's a great question Asker!
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. But not everyone has this truth in himself. To be honest with you it is not so much as about what we eat or what we don't eat, as it about what we say. The things that we eat don't corrupt our body, but the things we say. The things that we eat are eliminated.
It is what comes out of the body that defile us, "for out of the abundance the heart the mouth speak." Or simply put, the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Have a great day. Jesus loves you. He said "All you that are heavily laden come to me and I will give you rest. Take my you yoke upon you and you will rest for your souls. My yoke is easy and my burden is light.". He still saying that even today! He never changes, nor is he bribed!!!
God is a good God!

We make our bodies and ourselves impure by thinking wrong .
Start thinking the God's way and you will not have to worry about anything else.
Good Luck.

When you say grave yard, it is because dead bodies go there... what is difficult for other posters to understand about this point? I have seen much death of animals, taken by accident or disease, and I have often wondered, "what absurd notion took hold of man, that he looked to the carcass- dead bodies- of animals, to be nourishment?"
There are 3 modes of nature which act upon all beings, the mode of sattva or goodness, rajas or passion and tamaas or ignorance.
People may not know this but your body does indeed help you in your spiritual path, until you have surpassed the bodily concept altogether you will be effected by it.
Foods in the mode of ignorance, are corpses, intoxication like alcohol etc. and old foods. These types of "food" pollute your body and mind, further strengthening the bindings of material existence.
Although you may find spirituality in spite of having addictions for these things, more likely that you will be influenced heavily by the mode of ignorance.
Do you really think that qualities like love and compassion and kindness will sprout up in the heart of one who would kill and eat an animal, for the pleasure of their tongues? They also cry! They also bleed! who can kill and eat an animal (whose innocent eyes beg not to be killed, crying in fear and pain, trying to escape), and be called soft hearted?
(however in the case of a starving person, or where it is not possible to live vegetarian, it is understandable, and even scriptures give concessions for killing and eating animals.
On the other hand, now a days, it is rare indeed to find a situation that would warrant the consumption of animals, as truthfully speaking the way that people kill and eat animals is very wasteful indeed, and vegetarian lifestyle would feed more people for the same amount of land, and in far less time.)
We should treat our body as a temple not a graveyard. Treat it with respect, and keep it clean, putting only foods that are conducive to the mode of goodness, such as fruits, pure milk, (from happy loving cows) veggies grains and seeds/ nuts. (and there are almost unlimited wonderful nourishing, tasty varieties of eadibles made from these basic ingredients)
By doing so, slowly our consciousness will be uplifted, and purified. It will help with the control of our senses, and from the mode of goodness we have more pure good influence, and feel inclined to search for the truth.

God is in that food too.god assimilating God is OK. There is nothing where god is absent .nothing really dies and if the lifeless things are dead ,no life can germinate from it .Does not grass , plants and some worms appear from the humus , the mixture of earth and rotting things ? The animals you eat get absorbed in your body and some of it get out of your body and get mixed with the soil when y9u excrete hem. They are absorbed by Some other plants and worms .so the process of masquerade continues as re-incarnation.

I t is a good question. Our body is the dwelling place of God (Aham Brahmaasmi---Tat twam asi-- Annam Brahma(pure grains are divine-Aham cha brahma(Divinity is there in me who feed this pure cooked grain to a needy person)-Bokthaacha Brahma(divinity is ther on one who eats this pure cooked grain). Anywhere God is dwelling it should not be made a graveyard by burying the bodies of all kinds of animals.

A great avatar said that it does not matter so much what you eat but how you conduct your life that is truly important. he said 'Blessed is he who can sincerely call on God while eating pork. He is truly wretched who, even after eating sanctified vegetarian food, feels lustful and greedy".
