Puppies are pooping machines! A puppy will poop up to 5 times a day, because they eat three or four times a day,and usually poop right after eating, and when they wake up.As he gets older,he will poop less.My adult dogs usually go twice a day,and they are on a premium dog food mix of Nature's Recipe,Nutro Natural Choice, and Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice. The cheaper the puppy food, the more they will poop, also. What are you feeding him? Try to find something with no corn, wheat,or soy.

Well, A lot of this will depend on the type of food you feed him. A cheaper food will probably have a higher amount of filler in it which the dog doesn't actually use, therefore making it pass through the body. On the other hand, a quality dog food with little or no fillers will cause the dog to eliminate less waste because the body will use more of the products in it. You will also find you have to feed it less of a quality dog food to get the same result. That is why it is ignorant to purchase cheap dog foods for your animal as it will only make for more work for you. As far as how many times a day is "normal" or expected. I would say that you would want to take him out every 2-3 hours, however you'll want to push the limits sometimes to get him use to holding it. I own three dogs (8 yrs, 4 yrs, and 7 months) and they go out about 2-3 times a day. However, the pup should go out alittle more unless you would like your residence to smell a little funky.

Most puppy's will poop as many times as they have been fed. And they will usually go within a half hour of eating.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUOqv
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

That would depend on the pups metabolism and liquid intake.AS to feeding twice a day do you follow the same regimine daily? If so most young dogs need the trip ouside within 1 to 2 hrs as a norm.

He should poop just as much as he eats, unless he is sick, has worms or has diarrhea, which is common for new puppies.
