hello everyone,
everything's fine but i was wondering if it was normal that my boyfriend had nightmares at night?
well very often i hear him shout at something during his sleep, it wakes me up, and last night he really shouted strong so i got scared and woke up, i thought there was somebody in the room, lol
how come he has that?
do you have to cure that or leave it and wait until it goes away by itself?

Every person is different when it comes to dreams in the night.
Most people are silent.
Some people will make slight noises or movements.
Some people will speak things in their sleep that don't make much sense
A few will get-up and walk around, or eat, or sit down infront of the TV. When they wake-up they have no idea it happened.

Some people have seen movies where strong or evil things have happened - or they have been in a bad accident or have been badly hurt - maybe saw someone injured or die - or they have an intense fear........The mind will cause them to dream of very intense situations, often replicating their original trauma........Nightmares or Night Terrors.
And they can even act as if they are awake, can attack you in the night and never know they did it.

I would mention it to him and ask if he's ever talked to his Dr about his nightmares or sleepwalking. If this is happening very often, I would contact his Dr. You need to sleep in safety.

Even though it may seem strange or funny, my experience with this was almost deadly. Nothing to laugh about.

Some people have nightmare due to a event that happens to them maybe if he get cloasure on such event it will work.

I also watch a show that had a guy waking up from nightmare having a heart attack following maybe he has a condition that become obivous during sleep. If nightmare are constant try and go to a sleep observation thing where doctor's wire the person and observe em sleep noting various things. If nothing show up from that go to a psychologist it probably a event that happen to him.

Everyone gets nightmares. I keep dreaming about zombies and I read that it's stress related. Anyway, I don't shout out like that. In fact, I don't even snore. However, some people do talk in their sleep. My brother used to do that and you see it in movies all the time. I think it's pretty normal. If you want to prevent it, just fill your man up with happy thoughts before he goes to bed.

He must've done something like killed someone and that person is now haunting his dreams. LOL... just kidding. But you could ask him if there is anything bothering him, and if he says there's something, try to help him through it, and if he says there's nothing, pay close attention to what he says and try to link what he's saying.
