The Bond Between a police dog and an officer has to be very strong. The Officer has to know how the dog reacts to everything. The dog also has to learn to react to everything the officer does. A dog stays with the officer. He goes home with him. He is with him 24/7 almost!
The animal usually stays in a cruiser unless in the station with his officer!
