Only if you fall back and hit your head in a cement block.

SOme reasons for fainting
* prolonged standing or upright sitting
* stress
* any painful or unpleasant stimuli, such as
o giving blood
o watching someone else give blood
o watching someone experience pain
* prolonged exposure to heat
* sudden onset of extreme emotions
* hunger
* nausea or vomiting
* dehydration
* urination ('micturition syncope') or defecation (defecation syncope')
* swallowing ('swallowing syncope')
* coughing ('cough syncope')
* abdominal straining or 'bearing down' (as in defecation)
* random onsets due to nerve malfunctions
* Pressing upon certain places on the throat, sinuses, and eyes.
* High altitude

yea it kills brain cells. and since it cuts off the oxygen to your brain, you can have much more serious side effects. if you google it, it can explain the whole process and what could happen way better then me.

it can, if you fall onto a hard surface or bump into one as you fall. more importantly, what is the cause of the fainting???

.....only if you strike a hard object as you fall down. People have been killed that way.
