no, it doesn't freak me out.

but, it does hurt me to see my blessed savior's name used so callously and loosely.

I suspect that was the Enemy's intent. If you notice how often this happens in movies and other media. If I had dollar for everytime you hear His name used in a blasphemous way, I'd be a multi-millionaire by now.

I've learned to deal with it by considering that the Word does say that all will come to know the name of Jesus Christ. I just pray that they will also come to a saving knowledge of the name they take in vain so readily.

No we don't freak out, but I feel very very bad on hearing such things. If for a moment you consider Jesus to be God, how much patience must He have to put up with all this from the likes of us (humans).

If anyone says something bad about our parents, it hurts... probably we may get angry, even violent. How much more then for the one we worship as God. Yet He said that all such blasphemy against Him will He forgive, except one particular case (which you do not know of, the better for you)!
And such ungratefulness on our part, throughout the ages...

In the Lord's prayer, Jesus taught us, "Our father...
hallowed be thy name...."
May our glorious Lord's name be magnified and exalted for ever.

JESUS CHRIST

holy hell... its a freaking name. I hate religion. I hate how religion can change people. No good comes out of religion. All major wars were caused from religion. Religion was created for ancient people who were not scientifically advanced to understand why the sun rises every day. They thought the earth was flat, and that the sun revolved around the earth; they were idiots. And most of you are idiots now for believing such b.s. Its time for the human race to let go of religion so real advances can take place. I obviously don't believe in any religion. I believe in the morals that my family has ingrained in me. I used to be brainwashed. Now I feel free and like a normal human being. I don't know why people put themselves through self induced agony. It doesn't make sense. Religion doesn't make sense. This world doesn't make sense.

I don't say anything because religion is not something you are supposed to debate about. But I never curse the Lord. I pray to Him that the person who cursed will learn their lesson.

I don't freak out..if it is someone I know I do ask them to please not say that in front of me...if they swear I deal with it, but that or god da&% I will ask them to not say infront of me..If it is a stranger I just ignore it...unless it is a restaurant and they are using profanities and such..then it is just a respect issue I want to eat my dinner in peace..one or two swears no biggie..when every other word is an F bomb I speak up.

Not really. Jesus is the archangel, King of Kings, second only to God himself. What are we then to curse him? It would be like a cochroach trying to curse you.

I don't kill them, and their associates, and their neighbours, and their townfolk, because they insulted Jesus Christ.

(Besides, the movies, the tv, and the news mafia do it every day.)

If the opportunity presents itself, I offer them a tract and my testimony, and I ask them where they are going to go when they die.

Nope It usually is an exclamation rather then an insult. Even then if it is an insult, then everyone should be entitled to have their own views
