Stories of them hanging dead Australian Soldiers by the ankles from trees, cutting away the flesh from their legs to eat ! They really must have been, cruel, disgusting and sub-human, every island Nation who helped along the way, prior and during the US involvement seem to beleive so as well ! So were they sub human ?

The fall of Singapore, they machine gunned Aussie Nurses on the beaches because they wern't taking prisoners. God help anyman who fell prisoner to these animals ! More barbaric than the Germans !

To understand this in a proper context you have to understand the Japanese mentality of serving a "Living God" the Emperor, who was more or less duped by the Japanese Military High Command, they were out to create a "Super Japan" based on a corrupted idea of the Samuri Code of Bushido.

Every country has done is share of in-humane acts during war and at other times. What can you expect when you brain wash 17-19 year olds and tell them that the people they are going to kill don't matter. When you train a soldier, you train them to kill. That is what they are doing. Training to kill comes with it's dark side.
