No. It's amazing how many people have this problem.
Think of it as money.
3/4 of a dollar is 75 cents.
2/3 of a dollar is 66 cents.
So 3/4 is bigger.
Remember when cooking there are recipes and formulas. Recipes can be fooled with ...mostly general cooking. Formulas are generally baking and must be followed to the letter.

That depends. If you believe that 66and 2/3 cents is the same as 75 cents, then for you, it's probably the same. But if someone owes you $750.oo and want you to settle for $666.oo, I don't think you would agree that it's the same thing.
