I'm a recreational user, and I take a serious amount of time learning each steroid I intend to utilize, so I have tried several one's and do feel some work better than others. I also believe that they can and ARE taken everyday safely, and succesfully by people everywhere around us. That includes police, actors, athletes, doctors and people of other fields that one would assume is on the 'straight and narrow'. So my views on RESPONSIBLE steroid use are on the positive side.
I don't, however, no matter what ambitions, suggest anyone under 21 years old take them. I have two reasons for this.
1. A body under 21 is still growing and developing,(particularly in muscle mass and density, that's why all pro bodybuilders and powerlifters are 30y.o. or older--men peak in strenght at 30), and interference within this time frame can cause more harm than good. Letting your body achieve it's natural peak will result in AMAZING wonders if and when you do decide to start using.
2. Someone older has the ability to have the discipline to sit down and read EVERYTHING on steroids and LEARN their proper use. There is a way to use them responsibly, and there's a way to just use them. I'm not saying you are impatient, but I can't think of a time when I would have put as much time studying steroids when I was 16 or 17 as I do now if I could have gotten some back then.
Steroids are medicine, so if you learn how to counter each other's side effects, you can be SOMEWHAT safe. There will ALWAYS be a risk, no matter how prepared you are.
The guy who suggested you take mass steroids like Anadrol and D-bol is giving bad advice. I don't care what he did in his time, it is stupid and foolish to suggest you take such strong stuff for your first cycle. He's no F*c*en expert. If you do decide to do it your way and take them before you are 21, start off light. Anadrol (Oxymetholone) is some SERIOUS stuff, too serious. EVEN I DON'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!
Bottom line is this, you want to take them to improve performance, but I feel you may limit your long term ability. You WILL see improvement now, but you won't be able to make the BigDog teams when you are in your 20's.

You've read enough information about the adverse affects of steroids so I'm not going to spew it out again.
At 16 years old and 320 pounds I'd be more concerned about making sure you live to see 20 years old; even young strong men die of heart attacks at 20 and that IS a fact.
There are short term advantages to taking steroids but I say for a person of your age and weight the potential dangers far outweigh any short term advantage. You know steroids will enhance your performance, the question is, at what cost?
Laying aside the health risks - real talent is found in a player who doesn't take performance enhancers. A player's talent comes from the pure drive to succeed and if you are honest with yourself, you'll know if you dropped pounds, got into the gym and worked on your game you'll achieve the same high standard of performance that you believe steroids will give you.
A scout/team who will allow its team members to dope/take steroids/performance enhancers is not worth playing for.
Be honest with yourself -- pull finger and work hard.

while not having too medical steroids enable the consumer to coach at a intense point of intensity each and daily. the intense androgen ranges in the blood safeguard the crucial disturbing gadget from burning out. so overtraining collectively as on steroids is close to impossible. steroids connect with the AR receptors on the muscle cellular. whilst those receptors are saturated there's no place for catabolic hormones to attach. this permits the consumer to maintain on with a heavily decreased calorie collectively as dropping minimum quantities of muscle. heavy androgens are very anti-catabolic. the long term effects be counted on in the event that they're anabolic or androgens and oral or injectable. customarily injectable steroids are much less risky because of the fact maximum of them are actually not hepatoxic. the factor-effects from steroids are frequently dose based with maximum factors being controllable and momentary. there's a huge distinction between steroid use and abuse. and inspite of what the uneducated media might record there is this sort of element as risk-free steroid use.

Not worth it. What if you get caught? Could ruin any future plans you have, like college. Health effects-severe mood swings, acne, the shrinkage you mentioned, ever heard of Lyle Alzado? Think he played for the Raiders way back when. Died of brain cancer-which he attributed to steroids. Do a search on athletes and steroid use. You may say it's only for a few months or what not, but what if you don't stop? Again, just not worth it. Plus, say it did enhance your performance, and you get selected to a good school, and your performance isn't up to par? Are you going to start using them again?

You can lift more weights, but because your tendons aren't strong enough, you can rip your own muscle off the bone, causing permanent damage. You get acne, especially back acne. You get a foul temper, to the point where you can hurt yourself or others ('roid rage). You risk cancer and death (Lyle Alzado). You weaken your bones through osteoporosis, allowing your bones to break more easily. You can get cataracts or glaucoma. You have a greater risk of infection. The scouts will look at you and wonder whether they want to risk someone who cheats with drugs -- some schools will, some won't. The 'roids will allow you to lift more but you will still have to do the work in the gym. You get man breasts which don't go away when you stop, and the only cure is to get them operated on by a specialist in breast reductions. Girls won't want to date you because of the anger, acne, breasts and small 'equipment.' You get low self-esteem because you don't know if you could have made it without cheating. It costs thousands of dollars, so you end up dealing to make it. It's illegal. It's unethical. Oh, and jail time... I forgot that. Hard to go to college and play ball if you're in jail.

ADDICTION! youwill not do them for a little but and stop. you wont! drugs take over your brain so easily ecspecially at your age; youre more vulnerable to addiction. i had a drug problem at that age too thinking ill do it once.
youll suffer from horrible depression and anger issues. all types of steroids will do that to you. you will take anger out on parents, youll brush away from friends, and your classwork will get worse.
i had to deal with a friend recovering from addiction to them and it was so hard on me case he was so angry with me for no reason. it was a "how are you doing?" and responses such as "what does it matter to you? what the hell do you care?" and horrible things like that. after having issues at home his parents sent him to rehab. regrets the day he stuck that needle in...
and to really answer your true question:
youre performance will be based solely on your motivation, dedication, and will power to do so. drugs do not provide you with "powers" to do so. practice makes perfect. i know ppl say it all the time but its true. the harder you work the more results you see... steroids will cause depression and that right there will deface your performance.

It's illegal! That's all the information you should need!
Plain and simply illegal.
Plus it isn't that hard to find out your doing them!
Anger and aggression, shrinking genitals, and over growing muscles, not that hard to spot.
