Does not Isaiah say there is only one saviour? but Obadiah says there are many saviours. Does this also mean that there are many Sons of God. ?

I can be a savior of sorts, if my efforts help you to come to Christ.

That's why Christ said to preach the gospel to all nations. There is no contradiction here.

During ancient times Jehovah's people were not numerous in the land, and many had started to do what was bad in God's eyes; then the surrounding nations began to oppress them....in fervent prayer they called out to Jehovah for help, he sent a saviour [not the same meaning as Jesus] to bring relief to His people.

If you will read the battle accounts in the old testament, you will see that Jehovah set up certain men to war in behalf of His people.

Savior in the case of Christ Jesus cannot be compared to a mere man. Jesus was a perfect man, who laid down His perfect life in behalf of all mankind, who would believe and accept the sacrifice.

Men of old were imperfect like you and me and therefore could not save the world of mankind, being that they too were born in sin and imperfection and eventually died.....they are not around today, centuries later are they? They were temporarily used to fulfill a mission at that time.

Jesus is eternal......He is the Saviour of ALL!

referance scriptures; Obadiah 1, 17,18,19,20 Judges 3:9, 15. Nehemiah 9:27.
