These are the yahoo taiwan knowledge that people served in the ROC Air Forces:

Basically, your question is too general. There are several units under Air Force. Their duties and tasks are all different.

Basically, no one can tell you the answer until you find out what unit he belongs to.

Basically, we will need to explain from the reserves unit to guards unit.

Here is one. He just got into Air Force boot camp.

The boot camp for the newbies is about one and half month.

The boot camp is about classes and EAT. Nothing else.

For the guards, they have guards lessons. And you will be guarding.

There are three shifts. Each shift is at least 6 hours.

Nothing else besides than guarding and studying.

For the support, there are lots of office support work.

I can't help you any there hun. My husband is in the military and most the time he doesn't say much about what they do. I have to more or less try to pull it out of him. He served in Iraq, and has been home since 2004, and there is some stuff he is just now telling me about. Some stuff he will never tell me about, that is just something we have to leave with, being with military personnel.

Good luck finding out!
