when im depressed or sad or cry or hold back emotions, i get headaches. there not migrains but they annoy me. so i take pain relievers. i usually double the dose that it says, and if that doesnt work within an hour i take more, if that doesnt work i take more.... and so on. but it always seems like i still have a headache... im starting to wonder if theres something wrong. and how much i really should be taking... i feel fine, not like im going to pass out or something. so far i have about 2000 mg in me right now, (ur only supposed to take 500) and i still have a headache... how much is too much and why wont my headaches go away? and if i ever do have a problem, i cant tell anyone. my parents would kick me out, my boyfriend would dump me, & my only friend would just join me. our town is so small that everyone knows everything so even if i went ot the next town, my parents would know about it anyways. not that i think that i have a problem because i dont. but please help!

try exercising more, and eating healthier, and maybe mention something to your doctor. i'm sure you wouldnt be dumped and kicked out of the house for being depressed. you could try visiting an acupuncturist for a more natural approach. if you are afraid of needles they have other ways of soothing you. but it sounds like your headaches are from some severe emotions, i'm not sure migrane medicine is the best thing to help. just try to spoil yourself a bit, take a nice bath and rent your fave movie

I used to live in a small town, too. Believe me, I know how the women can be ............

But this could mean YOUR LIFE TONIGHT. Immediately call poison control !!! If not poison control, then 911. Do it NOW, and let your folks worry about the money later. (There is a way you may not have to pay if your income is too low- Medicaid)

If you took Tylenol, you could have taken a lethal dose (If I recall, there's no antidote)
If you took Ibuprofen, you could have caused your stomach or other organs to bleed uncontrollably internally, death could result before morning.

Your parents need to know, and they need to know NOW.
Start by saying you "have a headache and you made a mistake with the medication"

While you are with the Dr. tell them about the saddness and headaches. Ask what to do about it.

Now, about the headaches, there are other ways to deal with it that can be more effective than pain relievers. Get someone to massage your neck and shoulders until you are able to completely relax. This should cut your headache down to a small dull ache, or it may even disappear.
When the headache returns on another day, practice relaxation techniques, and find a sibling or friend to give you the neck and shoulder massage.

It can "hurt" your organs, not necissarily like painful, but as in it can cause permanent DAMAGE, and your body won't work right and your health can go really bad for a very long time.

Call and ACT now, every minute lost can be serious.

Neural impulses (and therefore pain impulses) are transmitted via the nerves. The nerves are formed by different cells which are not completely in contact with each other, believe it or not. These gaps between nerve cells are called synapses and are easily jumped by the pain impulses. However most of the common analgesics (pain killers) put a kind of chemical roadblock on the synapses making it impossible for the impulse to jump the blocked synapse and to reach the brain pain center. Et voila The pain SENSATION has been killed. The pain still very much exists.

1. Go see a doctor. If your getting depressed and crying or holding back emotions you probably have some type of depression or anxiety. Both can cause headaches. 2. try that stuff called "Head On". It's actually pretty good. 3. Make sure your getting enough sleep. But most importantly make sure you see a doctor!

As far as medication goes, please follow dosing instructions and NEVER go over the intended dose. 2000mg is a dangerous amount. If you are unable to control the physical pain, you need to share your symptoms with a doctor. He or she may be able to prescribe a totally different kind of pain medication that may be more effective for you.

As for being depressed or sad, how long has this lasted? If it only happens occasionally for a few days at a time, it may be completely normal. However, if it lasts longer than two weeks, it may be depression. There is treatment. Without treatment, I was unable to get out of bed, go to class, eat or even shower. With treatment, I was able to go to class again, have fun with friends again...now I even have my degree and a job.

You did not say how old you are. If you are an adult, please see a doctor and tell him or her about your symptoms. If you are a child, please ask your parents to make an appointment for you. Even if you go in for pain medication, you can still tell the doctor your emotional symptoms and see what he or she says. If you can not do this, ask to talk to your school councilor when school starts again.

Right now, you are abusing drugs. It is very dangerous and you need to stop now.

You really need to see a doctor about the headaches. There could be something wrong with you. As for the aceteminophen and I assume that is what you are taking well that can eat up your liver and kidneys, so I would see a doctor to see why you keep getting these headaches so often. There are pain relievers that are safer that the doctor can prescribe for you. Please see your doctor about getting a cat scan to be sure that there is nothing wrong with you. Good Luck and God Bless.

Well you really need to stop taking pain killers because it hurts to your liver and hold your emotions is not heathy. the best would be to find an outlet for them maybe exercise this help to elevate more endorphin wich helps to make you feel with a better mood and really cold water will help to calm your head aches. If you cant talk about your problems with anybody try writing them. good luck nothing last 4ever

You can take as much asprin as you want with out affecting your liver. asprin is healthy but it might make you bleed a whole lot if you get caught. You can also take amino acids which will send the vitamens and foods and pain pills and everything you consume where they are needed plus it help rebuild muscle and much more. amino acids
TRY GETTING AN ONLINE DOCTOR IF ALL ELSE FAILS TRY TAKEING STEROIDS. THERE ARE GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM AND BAD THINGS BUT THEY SHOULD FIX YOUR MUSCLES IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
