In microsoft word I want to print a picture to covber the entire page, but when I print it there is like 2-3 inches of white space on the top bottom, left, and right. How do I get rid of it?

You can do this in Word if your printer allows borderless printing.

The limitation is the printer, not Word. Word just prevents you from putting anything in an area where it will not print anyway.

If you have the appropriate printer, here's how to do it.

Insert your image and resize it so it fills the page. Do as recommended by cherrypicker in formating your picture.

Go to File Menu -> Page Setup and set all four margins to 0 and also the Header and Footer size to 0. Click okay to exit page setup. Choose the "Ignore" button when Word warns you about your margins.

Print the document and ignore any warnings about margins.

WORD will not allow you to completely print a full page - but you can minimize the margin space dramatically.

From the FILE menu, select PAGE SETUP then MARGINS. Set all the margins to zero. WORD will not allow this, but will reset the margins to the smallest value allowed by the printer you have set as your default (typically about 1/2 in each).

Also, don't forget to set the picture properties to 'IN FRONT OF TEXT' so that any stray characters (like SPACES you can't see) won't offset the picture position.
