ive gotten the battery and alternator tested...and it was said to have both been good...the battery is not even a year old..when i turn the key...my radio comes up and my noise letting me know my door is open...when u turn the key u can also hear like something spinning...but its not rolling over...i can pop my clutch to get it started though..but i dont think thats too healthy for the jeep..and when running my batter meter shows healthy..and this also happened a little over a month ago..and it magically fixed itself..but now the problem is back...and i have a brand new starter..but i had chrysler put it in...would it be a starter?????? what do i need to do?

Sounds like the starter isn't engaging. MOPAR parts usually carry a 3/36 warranty now, so return it to the dealer. If you are not near the dealer that installed it, any dealer will honor the warranty, if you have your copy of the bill.

It could also be a bad connection at the starter. They will check that as well.

kind of sounds like the starter isn't engaging correctly. Starters can be new but not work right. If you can take it off you can take it to someplace like Auto Zone and they can test it for free. If Chrysler installed it can they check it to be sure it is working like it should? did you get any warranty?

The starters bad. Tell them to fix it again!

take it back to chrysler and have them look at their starter
