Does the front of a 4x4 Ram truck take the lift blocks like the rear axle does, or does it need some special device such as coil springs or something else??

I have 04.5 diesel 4x4 depends how high you want to go? I put a 2" lift front spacers== 0 lift rear 315x70x17 BF AT/KO. it lifted the front 6" rear 4" needs running boards as you have a hard time getting in without. To go higher you need to replace a lot of the front end best have a 4x4 shop do as you have to drop the front axle & lift the truck up need a spring compresser & lift.If you go with more blocks rear you will get spring windup best to add springs. An a wedge to angle the differanial up to align the drive shaft. It's not easy do your research as you can have issues if you don't have the correct equipment. Also check with the state your in for head lights & bumper height limits. Have fun.

Seriously consider having it lifted professionally. Once lifted you change the angle of the driveline and can bind it up or prematurely wear out your U-joints. I have seen some damage the output of the transfer case.

When lifing a truck the angles must be readjusted to prevent the above.
