No children born are illegitimate children... all have a purpose and a reason for existence (not that I pretend to know what that reason is).

That said, you must think rationally about the words you read in the Bible... They say that the Bible is the "word of God". But if God didn't actually pen the Bible himself (which we know he didn't) then the Bible is really God's words being paraphrased by someone living at the time that the Bible was written.

Now, if God's words are being paraphrased, the circumstance of those words being interpreted differently from their original meaning is high.

For instance, God could have said "Only the pure may enter the assembly of God. Those born to illegitimate/evil purpose may not enter, nor may their descendants down to the tenth generation" and the person who wrote Deuteronomy could have taken that to mean "No one born of an illegitimate birth nor any of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, even down to the tenth generation" because it was considered impure to be born to unmarried parents at the time that the Bible was written.

More simply, you'll go to heaven if you live a good life and do what you can to be virtuous throughout it.

I hope that this answers your question.

The truth is that all are sons of God and this sort of question shows me how ignorant some people can be when it come to their faith. All souls are very highly spiritual beings and have a very high source from which it came and it matters not what religion they may be of. I can now see that many Christians do not even know about their own scriptures nor do they understand them at all .The World Teacher will set things right when he comes again and his personal name is Maitreya and is the elder brother of the human race. One cannot take the bible literally, for to do so will be a sign of spiritual immaturity and they would be best at just being good people and to remain as simple humans going about their simple tasks and not dabble into things that they have no understanding of.

We truly have zero proof that's what happens. For all we know the reason God has babies die is to have them go to a different family or maybe God just need them in heaven. The reason they get a free pass to heaven is because in the bible God says he judges us by the content of our heart. I think we can all agree that babies and young children are really very innocent compared to others and most if not all of the bad stuff they do they didn't even know was bad.

IT IS GREAT THAT SOME PEOPLE TAKE ENOUGH INTEREST IN THE BIBLE TO ACTUALLY READ IT. THERE IS A HEAVEN AND THERE IS A HELL, AND THEY ARE BOTH AS REAL AS THE EARTH YOU ARE STANDING ON NOW. THIS PASSAGE I KNOW IS VERY CONFUSING BUT IT IS CERTAINLY NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU. IT DOESN'T NOT MATTER IF YOUR PARENTS HAD YOU OUT OF WEDLOCK, WHAT MATTERS TO GOD IS WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE ACCEPTED HIS SON AS LORD AND SAVIOUR OF YOUR LIFE. THE OLD TESTAMENT AND THE NEW TESTAMENT IN THE BIBLE ARE VERY DIFFERENT THE OLD TESTAMENT CAN SOMETIMES BE HARD TO UNDERSTAND. IF YOU ARE A NEW CHRISTIAN TO READ THE NEW TESTAMENT STARTING OUT WOULD BE BETTER FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND, AND PRAY AND ASK GOD FOR THE KNOWLEDGE TO UNDERSTAND THE OLD TESTAMENT AS YOU READ IT. THIS PASSAGE IS MOSES LAYING DOWN THE LAW TO ISRAELITES BEFORE HE DIES, YOU HAVE GOT TO UNDERSTAND THE OLD TESTAMENT DAYS WHERE VERY DIFFERENT THAN THE NEW TESTAMENT DAYS. THIS VERSE IS TALKING ABOUT THE ISRAELITES NOT MINGLING OR HANGING AROUND WITH ANOTHER NATION. IF YOU READ ON DOWN IN VERSE 3 IT IS TALKING ABOUT THE AMMONITES AND THE MOABITES THESE ARE WHAT VERSE 2 IS REFERRING TO WHEN IT SAYS BASTARDS. THE AMMONITES AND THE MOABITES WHERE IDOL WORSHIPERS AND THEY WEREN'T TO CONGREGATE WITH OR WORSHIP WITH GODS PEOPLE. MY BIBLE HAS A REFERENCE VERSE (SOMETIMES THEY HELP) NEHEMIAH 13:1,2 AND THATS ALSO SAYING BASICALLY THE SAME THING I JUST TOLD YOU. REMEMBER THAT GOD LOVES YOU, AND IT IS A GOOD THING TO SHOW INTEREST IN READING GODS WORD. MAYBE IF YOU CHOOSE TO STUDY THE OLD TESTAMENT GO BY YOUR LOCAL BIBLE BOOK STORE AND A BIBLE COMMENTARY MAY BE OF SOME HELP TO YOU, ITS A BOOK TO HELP YOU STUDY AND UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE AND THEY USALLY AREN'T VERY EXPENSIVE. REMEMBER THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND THE ONLY THING THAT SEPERATES US FROM GOD IS SIN AND UNFORGIVENESS. I DON'T KNOW ALOT BUT I HOPE THAT I HAVE BEEN OF SOME HELP TO YOU. GOD BLESS !

Don't worry yourself. It's mostly nothing but scare words. For nearly 200 years the Christian Majority fought to keep the word Bastard on all Birth Certificates. The Pagan religions fought them the entire time and now 90% of the country (USA) is cleaned of this Christian hypocrisy. I could never understand how Christians could scream "no abortions" and then label the babies of the women that didn't abort Bastards for the rest of their lives.

Don't be. That was given to the Jewish Nation prior to Jesus.
For worship at the Temple.

For by Grace are you saved through Faith, it is the Gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

For God So loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should NOT perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.

Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in ME (Jesus). In My Father's house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again to receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.

Yes, Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so!

that's right the law was written to convict us of the need 4 Jesus.
u see the law shows us that we cannot be perfect. Had you been born then you would have needed to seek the high priest in order to have your curse reversed.

Now as you are born again your father is Jesus and his life shed blood for all time covers all sins past present and future.

Peace

Thats one of the reasons that Im not a religious follower of the bible. It;s freaken scary!!! Nothing but negative future predictions. It's sad that some people may really tell you that that passage is really acurate. Don't worry, Youll find out when you get there....I guess. You'll be okay.

...Never fear...this was written during a time of very, very strict Jewish Law for the people of the day...it was appropriate then....Christ has cleansed all this past , present and future...although God still believes that matrimony first, then children, is Divine,..it does not take away your God given right to be a child of God and therefore enter into the Kingdom....
